Grandma and Papa
This morning Grandma ring and had so exciting news Papa has Gilbert Syndrome!!! So that is were Uncle Charles gets Gilbert Syndrome from. I am getting the photo later on and I will put it on here in 2 or 3 days so stay updated!!!!!

A bit more about Gilbert Syndrome...
Some interesting facts about Gilbert's!
- Gilbert Syndrome is a common, harmless genetic condition.
- Gilbert syndrome is frequent in the United States and Europe.
- Lots of bilirubin can sometimes cause mild yellowing (jaundice) of the eyes.
- People with Gilbert syndrome are otherwise entirely normal.
- There is no need for treatment and the prognosis (outlook) is excellent!

Today I have had two people Uncle Brent and Grandad they are both positive. So now we know Uncle Brent has Gilbert Syndrome and so does Dad! Yippee! Half way though my Gilbert Syndrome Project. Hurry up Barker side!! (Mum said that!) Please stay updated thanks.

First test - Dad!
Dads test is the one on the right, and an untested one on the left. The square to look at is the one above the blue one. You can see his one is gone a browny gold colour. This is a positive result. That means he has bilirubin in his pee! Yayee the tests work. Now I am sending them out to my blood related family!!
